  • Creagh Court completed his Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University in Sydney. During his studies he worked under several of Sydney’s leading sports clinicians and developed his passion for injury management and performance enhancement.

    At graduation Creagh was awarded an honourary award for his contribution in the field of spinal research with his work in vertebral disc injury.

    After graduating Creagh spent several years working in the corporate sector of injury management and early intervention. He quickly became Queensland and New South Wale’s head training manager where he trained practitioners in the latest sports injury management techniques and educated on the latest research. During this time he sought out the most cutting edge and up to date techniques which took him around Australia and the world.

    On top of treating musculoskeletal aspects of injury Creagh takes a holistic approach also optimising nutrition and lifestyle advice so that patients may maximise their performance. He has helped many amateur to high level athletes as well as every day people achieve their goals through a multi modality approach to healthcare. These athletes come from many different backgrounds such as International level rugby league and union, International level crossfit, bodybuilding, triathletes and Iron man competitors.

Director - Briana Zylstra

  • Briana Zylstra completed her Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University in Sydney. Briana attended Macquarie on an Athletic scholarship and during her spare time worked with rugby union teams at a suburban to semi-professional level as one of their medical team trainers.

    On leaving university Briana secured an internship where she worked closely with Dr De-Stefano, the head chiropractor for the New York Giants NFL team. While interning with Dr Rob, Briana worked closely with NYC’s top orthopaedic specialists, physios and rehab specialists.

    On returning to Australia Briana spent several years working in the corporate sector of injury management and early intervention. Here she quickly ascended to QLD and NSW state manager and had a strong focus toward team development and client relations.

    During Briana’s career, she has always had a passion for sport and sport related injuries which led her to a prosperous career treating athletes at the most elite level. Most recently Briana returned from America after working with Madison Keys a top 10 WTA tennis player. In addition to the recent tour she has worked with numerous sports including pitchers from the Toronto Blue Jays, NFL, MBL, NHL, ATP tennis players, AFL, WWF wrestlers, Reds rugby union players and world class triathletes. This passion has seen Briana travel extensively throughout North America learning and treating with the best in preventative and functional therapies.

    Briana’s approach to treatment is a multi-discipline attitude incorporating functional assessments and movement, musculoskeletal therapies, nutrition and rehab. To ensure her patients achieve optimal results and performance.

  • Jake Smith completed his Bachelor of Health Science / Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) at RMIT University in Melbourne. During his time at uni Jake discovered his passion for rehabilitative therapies from undertaking his own rehabilitation after hip surgery.

    Since graduating University Jake has undertaken further education completing the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic’s ICSC program and the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association’s Level 1 coaching program to broaden his skills to not only work alongside athletes but to understand the depth of their training and give them tailored treatment plan specific to their goals.

    Understanding himself the need for a multi-modal approach he incorporates a range of treatment options that include functional movement assessments, active release therapies, dry needling, fascial abrasion techniques and rehabilitation exercises to help his patients overcome injury and move pain free.

    Jake began practice in rural South Australia and quickly established himself as the go to musculoskeletal therapist. He worked with all forms of athletes from ultra marathon runners, cross fitters, surf life saving events and therapist to multiple athletic and sporting teams. With his range of knowledge he decided to move to the big city of Brisbane and further grow his career among the Elite Health and Performance community.

    Jake breathes all things sport and competition. Growing up he liked to watch and have a go at almost anything he could. Today he likes to regularly train at the gym whilst also competitively playing golf, cricket and having a ride around some of the local mountain bike trails.

  • Braden Burgess completed his Bachelor of Science Chiropractic / Master of Clinical Chiropractic at Central Queensland University in Brisbane. He also has a Bachelor of Health Science in Myotherapy and Certificate III & IV in Fitness where he ran his own personal training business for 4 years before commencing his studies in chiropractic.

    During his time at university Braden developed his passion for sports related injuries and improving performance. Braden undertook further courses in Level 1 Sports Trainer, Dry Needling, Rocktaping and is currently completing his FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine and International Federation of Sports Chiropractic ICSC to broaden his skills and knowledge.

    Braden enjoys treating all things sports and ensuring his patients perform at the highest level. His approach to treatment is a multi-disciplinary style integrating functional and movement assessments, soft tissue techniques and corrective rehabilitation exercises. He

    Braden lives and breathes sport with his passion being Football (Soccer), which he played at state level and in the QLD NPL. He also enjoys coaching and has been involved with local clubs and BGS the past 10 years. Braden likes to play recreational sports, train at the gym and enjoys getting out and exploring new mountains and waterfalls.

  • Luke completed a Diploma in Applied Science at the Auckland University of Technology in 2019, followed by a four-year Bachelor of Chiropractic degree at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. Throughout his studies, Luke treated numerous athletes, many of whom were frequently injured, with a significant portion competing in Crossfit. He recognised a need for integrating exercise-based rehabilitation as well as hands on therapy in order to correct underlying movement deficiencies. 

    Growing up, Luke’s dream was to become an All Black just like every other Kiwi kid. He spent his weekends competing in rugby or cricket until his early adult years. However, a consecutive number of injuries led him to develop a passion for strength and conditioning, ultimately shaping his journey to incorporating exercise and movement into clinical practice.

    Luke understands the fundamental movement principles necessary to participate in a variety of sports, specifically in Crossfit, weightlifting, and strength training. He provides a range of manual therapy techniques, including manual adjustments and soft tissue therapy such as active release technique, to reduce muscle spasm adnd pain. He recognises the importance of integrating corrective exercise in order to improve stability and strength for long-term change.

    In his spare time, you can find him weightlifting, throwing down in a Crossfit metcon, or avidly following cricket, rugby union, or NRL (up the Wahs).

    Elliot's journey into chiropractic care was ignited by his undying love for sports. As a former athlete himself (CrossFit & Swimming), as well as fitness coach, he understands the demands placed on the body and the importance of holistic care in achieving peak performance.

    With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of biomechanics, Elliot employs a diverse range of techniques tailored to suit each individual's needs.   • Caity completed her Bachelor of Science in Chiropractic and Master of Clinical Chiropractic at Central Queensland University in Brisbane. Throughout her academic journey she was always drawn to the idea of a multi modality approach having experienced the amazing results this could bring throughout her time playing netball, training in the gym as well as pilates.

    Her passion in this field was not unnoticed and the lead sports lecturers at university personally took pride in upskilling her as she committed to many courses outside of her training having her graduate at the top of her game with a range of modalities to lead patient care.

    Caity is committed to supporting and empowering her patients as they navigate injury and setbacks. She believes in providing individualised care tailored to each patient's specific needs, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals. She has a deep passion for learning and a keen interest in ongoing academic exploration of treatment approaches, all with the goal of delivering the utmost quality of care to her patients. Being trained in a range of modalities Caity’s true strength lies in her hands on soft tissue therapy utilising Active Release Technique with a hell of a grip! Further to this she has some of the strongest manual adjusting skills to maintain good joint health. Once she has the patient out of the acute pain they present with her goal is to make sure this injury is resolved permanently and does not reaggravate. To achieve this she then empowers her patients with customised rehabilitative exercises specific to patient needs.

  • Shannon completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University in 2021. During her studies, she worked in a gym, gaining valuable experience with injured gym-goers and developing a strong understanding of strength training and rehabilitation. After graduating, she worked in hospitals across North Queensland and the Gold Coast, treating post-surgical patients and those undergoing long-term rehabilitation.

    With over 8 years of experience in weightlifting and hybrid/Hyrox-style training, Shannon has always been passionate about health and fitness. She has a deep appreciation for biomechanics and functional rehabilitation, helping individuals optimise movement patterns and long-term performance. She incorporates a range of manual therapy techniques alongside corrective exercise to support recovery and injury prevention.

    Beyond the clinic, Shannon is a strong advocate for overall wellness, emphasising mobility, recovery, and nutrition to support both daily function and athletic performance. She enjoys educating patients on how to maximize their health and longevity, empowering them to move and feel their best.

  • Anlo is a South African born, Kiwi raised Physiotherapist. She completed her undergrad training at Auckland University of Technology before working within private practice for the next five years in Auckland. Over this time, she continued to complete her Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy through the University of Otago.

    Through several years in private practice she gained experience within the sporting field, working as the physio for Auckland University Rugby Club before jumping across the ditch to Brisbane in 2021. It was here that she was fortunate enough to be working full time with the Queensland Fire and WBBL Brisbane Heat, gaining invaluable experience with elite athletes in the high performance setup.

    Anlo has come from NZ with an extensive background in playing semi-professional cricket and it is here that her passion for working with athletes began. Anlo is incredibly passionate in the role she can play in improving health outcomes and has a focus towards those with sport-related injuries, including pre and post operative management with a predominant focus on manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation. She also loves getting to know her clients and aims to form strong relationships with them which she feels will only make rehabilitation that much more enjoyable!

  • Jannicke IJdens, a physiotherapist hailing from the Netherlands and resident of Australia. Jannicke completed her Bachelor of Sports, Lifestyle Coach and Sports Manager and her Bachelor of Applied Science Physiotherapy in the Netherlands. Until Jannicke moved to the other side of the world, she worked at one of the biggest sports private practices in the Netherlands. 

    The affinity for physiotherapy was not merely a career choice but a lifelong passion that took root in her early years. The love for this discipline blossomed at a young age and has been a driving force behind her commitment to the profession. Her professional voyage, though marked by triumphs, has not been without its share of challenges.

    Jannicke navigated through a multitude of injuries, each experience serving as a testament to the resilience and perseverance ingrained in her.

    During her career Jannicke proudly represented her country in track and field, bobsleigh, and rugby 7’s and 15’s.

    Faced with the reality of injuries, Jannicke had to bid adieu to competitive sports. Yet, her journey did not end there. Instead, it marked a transition from being a pro athlete to becoming a dedicated physiotherapist, fueled by a desire to help others overcome their setbacks.

    In her current role, she is actively engaged in various sports teams, utilizing her expertise to assist athletes in their pursuit of peak performances.

  • Andy graduated AUT university, Auckland with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy in 2018, he has since spent the last five years working as a physiotherapist in private practice and with local sports clubs in Wellington, New Zealand. Including both working and travelling with elite and national level football teams and academies.

    Relocating to Brisbane in 2023, Andy’s excited to continue to share his passion and expertise to help people live and perform without the limitations of pain or injury holding them back.

    Andy has a background in sports. Playing football, rugby and currently competing in CrossFit, where his passion stemmed from experiencing first-hand the struggles and frustration of injury and pain.

    As a physiotherapist he’s seen a lot of people living in pain, simply because they think their injury is too much to be resolved, or that persistent pain is just part of training, working,living, or getting older. But that doesn’t need to be the case.

    Andy has deep understanding of the demands involved in a wide range of sports and activities and specialises in treating sports injuries and improving both daily function and athletic performance.

    In his spare time, you’ll find Andy exploring and enjoying the Queensland outdoors or training as a competitive CrossFit athlete.

  • With over 15 years of extensive sporting experience, Hayley has an impressive ability to identify and remedy frustrating issues that hinder people performing at their peak.

    Hayley completed her physiotherapy degree in New Zealand, and her Masters in Sport Physiotherapy at Melbourne’s La Trobe University. She then spent 7 years on the global sporting circuit touring with LGPA golfers and helping soccer, cricket and tennis players achieve their performance goals. More recently, she worked with a range of Olympic competitors at High Performance Sport New Zealand.

    Hayley’s insights into some of the highest levels of sporting performance have helped her develop an approach that goes far beyond the bounds of traditional physiotherapy. Hayley’s passion is to continue to help people move and perform at their best. Specialising in pelvic, hip, and lower back pain she uses a combination of manual therapy techniques and movement modification work to achieve the best results.
