Jaimi Parr

Jaimi graduated from Central Queensland University with a Master of Clinical Chiropractic before relocating to Canberra to further develop her career in sports chiropractic and complete her International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic through FICS. Since then, she has worked with athletes across a wide range of levels, helping them recover from injury, improve performance, and get back to doing what they love.

Jaimi has a special interest in concussion management and rehabilitation, with further study in concussion pathophysiology, evidence-based concussion care, vestibular rehabilitation, and functional neurology. She has completed the International Complete Concussion Management Inclusive (CCMI) practitioner program in 2019 and 2021, along with additional certifications in multimodal concussion management and functional neuro-orthopaedic rehabilitation. She is passionate about helping patients not only recover from concussion, but also understand the process and feel confident throughout their rehab.

Alongside her chiropractic training, Jaimi brings extensive hands-on treatment experience from her background as a qualified remedial massage therapist. Having previously worked with the Queensland State of Origin team and the Brisbane Broncos across multiple seasons, she has highly developed soft tissue skills and a strong understanding of managing athletes in high-performance environments. She also incorporates dry needling, Active Release Techniques, and exercise rehabilitation into her treatment approach to help patients reduce pain, restore movement, and address the underlying cause of their injury.

Outside the clinic, Jaimi has spent many years coaching tennis and netball and has personally participated in a wide range of sports including Brazilian jiu-jitsu, netball, and snowboarding, giving her a genuine appreciation for the demands sport places on the body.
